After buying into BCV last winter sight unseen and then staying at SSR in February, we are nearing our first trip "home" this December, thus the planning starts to kick in....what tips or things should we be doing around the BW & BCV resorts? Our family of 5 includes 3 kids (DD7, DS6, DD5).

SAB assuming the temp is over 70* (we're from Michigan, we jump in the lake when it's over 70* outside), B&C of course as we stopped there this past trip and LOVE it, the Boardwalk stuff looked interesting but we don't know what we don't know!?!

Thanks in advance!

Rent Bikes!

Rent a mouse(boat)!

Feed the Ducks!

Just walk along the Boardwalk at night!

Get a Kitchen Sink at B&C!

Enjoy!

We got to stay at 'your home' (which we loved by the way :thumbsup2 ) last December. We love WDW at Christmas, so we tend to enjoy all the goings on throughout WDW. I can't give you any more tips than already mentioned, but hope you and your family have a wonderful tme. :bounce:

Do the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe.
If you get an Epcot view, watch Illuminations from your balcony.
Look for the turtles in the canal.
Definitely stop in at Beaches and Cream for a meal or just dessert.
Take the mandatory picture of Ariel.

More, more, more tips!
We're staying for the first time this coming Feb and I am trying to learn as much as possible before we go.
Thanks for all the tips so far. BC/BCV sounds like a very laid back resort. Can't wait!

My family enjoys the Marketplace. Try their gelato, it counts as a snack credit and it is great. If you want lunch by the pool, go into the Marketplace for their sandwiches or salads. The little lunch stand, I can't remember the name by SAB, is not very good. The service has been slow as well. If you get a pool view you can see MK fireworks from your balcony.

I heard today that Beach Club is closing the pool for renovations in January, does anyone know how long this is going to take? Maybe I should open another thread?

We fed the turtles (in the canal) pieces of bread. We counted 14 turtles. The fish eat it too.

We liked to get 2 flavours of gelato in one order (half chocolate and half mango).

The drawing room, breezeway and Solarium are nice places to hang out.
