BCV, studio, detergent question

Hi Everyone: We're staying at the BCV in March in a studio. Do they supply laundry detergent for the washing machines down the hall? Thanks

I think they are 1.00 or 1.50 a box in the laundry room.

We buy some of the "tab" detergent and some Bounce sheets and pack them in our suitcase. I think that Whisk, Purex and Tide all make the tabs and they are very convenient for travelling.

Washers and dryers are free, which was a nice surprise. (Took a little time to figure out why the quarters wouldn't fit in the little slots.) I imagine it can get a little busy, only two washers and 4 dryers for the entire building. Soap was 4 quarters a box.

I like the tabs too. Don't take up a lot of space, and they are easy, convenient, and not messy.

Bear in mind that only those stayiing in studios need to use the public laundry. Everyone in a 1,2 or 3 bedroom has their own in their unit.
