I have never stayed at the BCV on the DVC side. Are and standard view studios more preferred than others? We are heading there for spring break and I am looking ahead already trying to get myself through this subzero temperature front. Any input is welcome! If you stayed there, where were you and what were the pros and cons of that location? Thank you!

There is not a difference between studios at BCC. There isn' a category for standard and preferred. The villas are located behind the BC on the old cast member parking lot so there isn't much of a view.

Thank you, I finally found a map and figured that the views would be slim. I appreciate your response though! I guess I will roll the dice and leave this one up to the reservation gods.

I'd agree with the roll the dice idea. I've stayed in about 15 different BCV studios (yup, big BCV fan). The only ones I dislike are the ones that face the road, but I've sometimes gotten those regardless of what I request. I've been both pleasantly and unpleasantly surprised with room views there. Roll the dice and good luck!

I've had two different views, one of the parking lot and one of the wooded area near the walkway to EPCOT. Both were fine to me.

BCV is our home resort and for us the best view is the pool view very relaxing when sitting out on the balcony

Where did you find a map? Did it have room numbers? Last time we had a 2 bedroom 2 queen dedicated which had a fantastic view of the fireworks. Our only request was high floor, near elevator, and I know when we went in the elevator next to the room we came out right at the Villa pool. Trying to remember what room number it is since I didn't take a picture.

Edited to add: I found the map in this thread

as they already said ask for pool view. Or you can ask for Ariel view which is looking at the walkway from BC I believe.

We stayed in Room 463 this week. Used Touring Plans fax to request upper floor on Epcot side. We could see fireworks from our balcony through some trees but it was a decent view. Road and canal are adjacent to that wing. We didn’t notice road noise and quiet was our top priority.
