Do the cushions come off the sofa beds or do they fold under??

Do the cushions come off the sofa beds or do they fold under??

They stay attached and support the foot of the bed at BCV and BWV and maybe others. This is the sofa that flips from the back and over. It doesn't pull out.

DW and I consider ourselves relatively intelligent people, but we had a heck of a time trying to figure out how to get the bed to unfold (took us several minutes pulling and tugging all over until we saw the top move). We've never come across a sleeper that pulls out like that, outside of the one at BCV.

The one at the BWV is the same. The last time we stayed at the BCV, there was a laminated sheet on the side table with instructions on how to open the bed.
