Hi all,
We're leaving for WDW in 9 days
cool1
and we'll be staying in a 2br villa. When I've gone before we've just asked when we got there for an Epcot view, which usually put us in a room on the 3-4 floor overlooking that service road that runs alongside the BCV. We could see the top of the ball, some of The Land, and maybe some other odds and ends.
Well, we booked through AAA this time around and when I asked if they could call and make a few "if possible" requests, a room on an upper floor and some sort of Epcot view, the agent told us we had to pay extra for an Epcot view. Now I'm wondering when were there before, did they just give us a room facing Epcot, since our room didn't have a full-sized view? I was considering asking again just to see if they have anything (even though from what I understand they try to figure out rooms some time before the guests actually arrive) when we check in. I'm not looking for anything spectacular, and we were happy seeing the bits of Epcot we did when we had that type of room in the past.
So, should I even bother? And are there any other views someone might suggest for a BCV room?
TIA!!!

I'd just follow your usual policy and see what happens. If you end up with a lower unit, maybe you'll get one of those huge balconies to compensate.
