We have booked a studio @ BCV in August. We have 2 kids - 8 and 5. Are there any room requests people would suggest?

BCV is small and there are no great room views. We only ever request that we not be in the ground floor (it's a personal preference, nothing wrong with ground floors).

We've had pool views, woods views, close to elevator, end of hall. It doesn't seem to matter much since the resort is not very big.

It will all depend on what you think you would like.

There are Woods view, may or may not have Illumination views, generally a quieter location, not much else to look at other than trees.

There's also what was or is called EPCOT view, generally closer to the road, which some fine undesirable because of noise.

There is what is called Courtyard view which overlooks the courtyard between the BC & BCV, not much to see other than people coming and going from BCV.
In general closer to the Marketplace, BC lobby & bus stop

Lastly there is the pool view, which overlooks the quiet pool, spa, & canal. Personally my favorite, as it allows for the greatest people watching if you're into that. Many complain it is noisy, and if you keep your door open it probably could be. The lights for the pool are on all night and you may have people in the pool and spa until 2 or 3am.

Next things to consider would be, do you want to be close to elevators, closer to the BC resort, closer to the parking lot. Keep in mind that being closer to one end of the resort is only a couple of min from the other end, it is a small resort. Also important would you want to be on the ground floor or upper floors, I personally prefer upper floors.

Remember requests are only that, there are no guarantees you will get what you want, but I believe the more specific you are the better the chances, I honestly think they do try to meet your request.
If you're not happy with where they assigned you, don't hesitate to ask what else is available it might be better to you than what they assigned you. But by all means don't be demanding or argumentative, that will work against you.

I hope you enjoy your stay at BCV

I had a first floor room right next to the road (and service road for CMs). It was the worst room I've ever had. It was VERY noisy with cars and CM carts going by and a pretty long walk to anything. I was very unhappy as this was my first time staying at BC. If I knew this would ALWAYS be my room....I would never go back to this resort. Hopefully next time I try it I get a better room.
