Does anyone know if there are any plans to rehab the guest rooms at the BCV? By rehab, I mean paint, new carpet, etc. We thought, on our most recent stay, that some of the rooms are getting rather worn looking. Just curious! Thanks!

We just returned a couple of weeks ago from a brief stay in a BVC studio and it was spotless; no wear or tear to be found.

The BCV is less than 5 years old, so any sort of a large scale refurb similar to what has recently occurred at the Contemp and Poly is not even on the radar. The resort budgets do have capital reserve funds going toward refurbishments but I think anything on a massive scale isn't planned until half way thru the contract life.

DVC resort rooms undergo regular maintenance on an as-needed basis. If you find something wrong with your room, the best thing you can do is report it. There's always going to be some cost vs. benefit consideration given. If someone leaves behind a carpet stain two weeks after it has been replaced, do you spend hundreds of dollars to replace it again?

In some cases guest complaints will drive maintenance decisions. If you think your room is in need of a paint job, report it to the resort so they can take your feedback into consideration.
