BCV, Room Ready?

We are checking into a 2 BR at BCV On Sunday October 15, what are the chances of our room being ready early? We will be at US the night before so we can get to BCV whenever, what would be the best time to get there? I was thinking 8am, and if room not ready go to Epcot or MGM, what do you think? Thanks in advacne

I wouldn't expect you room to be ready then. Although I have occasionally been surprised, most of the time we don't get into the room until 4:00.

Your plan to get checked-in at 8:00 and head for Epcot until the room is ready is a sound one though. They will give you a number to call to check on the status of your room.

We just got back from our trip on Sunday, & I stayed at the BWV my first night so we had to transfer to BCV the next. We got to BC at around 12, & they let me check in at that time. She said the Villa's were especially busy that day, so I could not get the room that was intended for me. I was put all the way at the end, but I did not mind because I was close to the parking lot. We drove everywhere we wanted to go, so it was nice to be close to the car. If they would not have let me check in I would still have gotten there early, because they can hold your luggage while you go to the parks.

On Aug. 18 we checked in at 11:00am (for a 2 BR). When we called the number they gave us at 2:30 it was ready.

We've lucked out during our last two stays at the BC - We got in right away. It's really luck of the draw.

Our experience checking in a BCV is a mixed bag. When we first started going (October 2002) we tended to check in before noon and at least 1/2 the time we got right into our room. The last year and 1/2 or so we've been getting there between noon and 2 P.M and in the majority of the cases we've checked in but had to wait for our room. However, we have never had to wait until 4 P.M. to check in.

We always have two plans in mind for our first day and depending on how things go at check in we execute plan A or plan B.
