In the For What it's Worth Department:
We were walking around today and toured the models of the BCV rooms at BW, and then went over to the BCV resort to see what we could see. Although you can't walk into the resort areas yet, you can see over the short fences quite well. The outside has really been spruced up and it is looking great.
We were talking briefly with a man who was painting one of the temporary baricade fences, and asked him why, since the resort will be opening in a little over 3-weeks.
His answer: Michael Eisner will be inspecting the resort on Monday, so they're getting everything spruced up.
It looks great, fresh paint on all the outside stuff: Can't hardly wait to stay there.
Also in the FWIW department, we walked along the paths (they were open) on the side that faces Epcot. It looks (from ground level anyway) that the Epcot views will be quite poor. It appears you might be able to see Spaceship earth to the left, and the back of "imagination" (I think, at least that's what the building looks like) right straight ahead, but trees will block an awfully lot. If you look to the left, it appears some of Epcot's 'backlot' will be somewhat visible. Not a very pretty sight with trucks parked there, etc. Also, this 'wing' of the resort is along the road, so traffic and bus noise may be a problem.
IMO I think the pool views will be the best rooms.
