BCV refurb into new year- MS offering change of resorts?

Can anyone confirm this? I saw this posted in the resort board here on the Dis from the past week. We have an upcoming stay in January and thought the renos were done!

The posters were reporting that MS was offering a switch in resort to AKV, VGF, and the poly. What major renovations are going on a BCV to be offering resort changes!?

At 1st glance, it sounds like cash rooms.
The Yacht Club convention center is getting a major expansion. The Villas are the BC wing farthest from the YC.

We were at BCV in late September, and the refurb was done. The aforementioned YC convention center construction will be ongoing, but the only impact we encountered was the temporary relocation of the BC/BCV bus stop to an area at the far end of villas, which isn't a negative if staying in the villas building.

If BCV is done, then why is MS's saying it is not and you still cannot book a Studio with 5? We were there in September as well and we were told it was still ongoing but had been pushed due to YC convention center work.

When we were there a couple weeks ago, it seemed BCV was done. However, this is F&W festival time, and one CM told me that they were booked solid. The next morning, as DH and I were walking by, we saw a room with several "suits" in it, grumbling and shaking their heads, and the sound of broken glass being swept up. So I can't help but think that BCV capacity is being pushed to the max right now and they just don't want to say "We're all done, ready for more people!" Just my guess.

We were there last week and it certainly seemed done. We were on the first floor, the last to be done. No signs of ongoing work

We had a 1BR at BCV last week for the F&W, and saw NO signs of work being done. We thought the refurb was fantastic. Taking up the carpet in the main areas make it seem so much cleaner, IMO. And replacing the yucky jetted tub with a soaker tub. AND the addition of a lighted magnifying mirror in the bathroom was the icing on the cake!
