Mine would kill me if I added any more points!!
Swinging is not permitted on the boards so it'd need to be a permanent swap, no returns.

Hmmmm....our original purchase price in August 2000 of $67 per point looks better every day.

Terry, Where did you find this man??? What planet did he come from??? I can't even get up the nerve to ask DH when we can go back. (I'm a big chicken) Our first trip was in May. We are expecting our 3rd child in March, so I don't want to push the issue right now. When our second child was 4months, we took a week long WDW trip and DH said never again. I'm in hopes that the DVC accomodations will make for a much more relaxed trip and he might consider a nice October trip!!!:teeth: Anyway I'm glad we bought last year , $84 really seems like a big price increase.

Wow!!!!
I can't believe it's going up AGAIN! We just recently did an add-on and by adding on now instead of waiting we saved 4,480.00, that is a HUGE savings!:D :D :D :D :D

You guys are all too funny!!! I just love these boards!!! Yes, my husband is wonderful (most of the time). He loves WDW almost as much as I do, which is really nice. He also see how happy the kids are when we are there and that makes him like it even more.

We went in April and are going back in 9 days. We are out of points for the year, but when I mentioned that they had great rates and codes out for the late fall he told me to book BCV on cash for X-mas, which I promptly did, $299 for a 1 bedroom at X-mas. But, I may end up cancelling it, we really can't afford to go and he keeps telling me just not to worry so much about money. (He figures we can't take it with us when we die). So, I have to be the sensible one.

Are we married to the same man? Sometimes mine makes me so mad though. I want an answer - not just 'buy whatever you want" "don't worry so much about money" "you can't take it with you".

edith76... It sounds like it. As much as I love my husband and I am glad I don't have to worry like some of my friends who have to worry about every penny they spend or thier husbands will be upset, I also want an answer sometimes. We really don't make that much money and don't have an unlimited supply like he acts.

Doctor P,
I agree with you, we bought OKW(300 pts) back in 1999 @$65 pt, even our VB points(200) we bought this yr @$62 pt is a steal compared to the prices now($84).

I guess they know that people are willing to pay for a great location.
I thought I had a great deal recently after "winning" a lottery to buy more BW points adding on 200 pts through Disney for $75 per point.
We just sent in the paperwork to buy at $70 at the BCV this morning, (a long wait, but worth it). We were going to sell our Okw pts, and are not sure anymore. We can always reserve GV's at Christmas time, and "sell", I mean rent them to people on the rent board or ebay to pay for our recent purchase. What a deal! It Would probably only take 2 to 3 seasons to get our money back.

I'm just kidding, that would be wrong. Noone does that on the rent board, but that's another topic.

Gee, we only bought one or two years ago, but got our 460 points for $53 per through a resale. Seems like it was a good idea!

If it was a good deal for you, then it was a good deal. We've added on 7 times now, and it always seems like a great deal for us.

We've added on 7 times also and it always seems like a good deal to us. Looking for #8. I swear every purchase is the last one!
