I just saw that the BCV pool will be closed for refurb 3/31 - 4/18 !!!!
I have my first stay at BCV 4/6 -4/12.
It has been my dream to stay at the Yacht or Beach club since I was young and now this.....
I am so mad, I hope I don't get a room facing the quite pool now.

Who closes the pool during prime Spring Break season

It's one of the quiet pools that is closed, not SAB, so don't get your knickers in a twist! SAB is where you will be parking yourself to tempt skin cancer, which is the best place of all.

I understand it is the quiet pool but still it is bad timing.
I am very excited about SAB but I would of liked the option of a quiet pool for a quick dip when I got back from the parks.

Are members allowed to use the quiet pool associated with the BC? It's right off the path that leads to BC from Epcot. That would be closer than SAB and has never been busy when we've walked by.

Spring break is a long season. Early March to mid April. Since Easter is so early this year, the timing will probably miss the bulk of the Spring break crowd.

I suspect you're referencing pool hopping. No, the quiet pool is not available for pool hopping. It's been specifically excluded from the program by previous DVC policy statements.

The original question is being asked by someone who is staying at the BCV during a time that the DVC pool is to be worked on. I am asking if you are staying at BCV, can you use this pool, especially since the other quiet pool is closed. I see that people have suggested to BWV people that they can use the pool on the Inn side when the pool by the community hall is closed.

Sorry, I misunderstood your question.

Yes, BC has it's own quiet pool. It is a bit difficult to find. Ask at the front desk and they will direct you. I've stayed at BCV many times and can't remember ever seeing more than 2 or 3 people in that pool at one time. Have a great trip!
