BCV or BWV?

Which would you choose and why? The Beach Club Villas or the Boardwalk Villas? I appreciate any replies!

I'd pick the BCV, DS would pick BWV-that's why our next trip is to BWV. I much prefer the theming of BCV. It reminds me of my memories of Cape Cod. I also prefer the quietness of BCV-there are several quiet rooms to read in-the Drawing Room, the Solarium (although that one's not always so quiet), and I forget the third-across from the elevators. Speaking of elevators, I prefer the fact that at BCV, when you come down to the main floor on the elevators, the doors open to a quiet lobby area. Over at the BWV, the elevator doors open and you are right in the middle of the action (or hub-bub, depending on how you see it). I also prefer the closeness of Beaches and Cream, and going to the pool area where I can squish sand under my toes. Sitting on a swing on the beach.....
BWV did have one thing better, in my opinion, though. I stayed in a standard view studio, fewer points, and had a much nicer view from my balcony than from the balcony of my room (more points) at BCV. But it's that theming...

You really can't go wrong with either one. Beach Club has a more appealing pool in Storm Along Bay, but the BW pool is fun too, as long as you don't have a fear of clowns. Boardwalk tends to be a little cheaper, and I think there's more availability if you are renting points.

I just stayed at BWV and I loved it. It was within walking distance to EPCOT and MGM. At night there was alot of things going on on the Boardwalk. There were different restaurants to choose from, and the yummy bakery. I loved the pool area ( with small children I felt like it was a little more manageable). I liked that the kiddie pool also had a small playground right behind it. I have never stayed at BCv (not yet), but I don't think you can go wrong with either. This location is really great. Enjoy

I'm a BWV fan....so my opinion is bias....I don't stay anywhere else...

I just returned from a stay at BWV and had a wonderful stay in a studio (or as one person called it , slumming it at the Boardwalk). I haven't stayed at BCV but know people who own there and they really do enjoy it. I don't think that you can go wrong with either choice. IMO I did love the BW and being able to go out on the balcony at night and watch all the activities was a wonderful way to end a day there. I also must admit that it was a lot of fun to slide out of the clowns mouth when the slide was open.

I love the BCV. I love the theaming, the quietness (although I love the hustle of the boardwalk but then being able to go back to the peaceful BCV), I love Stormalong Bay, especially the sand and the slide.

Great question. I have a difficult time making the choice myself. Consequently, I have 300 pts. at each.
If you're looking for a more adult theme go with the bwv, i.e. dueling piano bar,Atlantic dance, ESPN, the upscale Flying fish resturant, the mediterranian themed Spoodles, and a microbrewry.
If you've got young kids then try bcv. They'll love stormalong bay which is an attraction unto itself.
Bottom line though, you can't go wrong with either choice, since you can visit the other one next time you come.
Have a blast. :cool1:

We own points at BCV. I'd rather stay there than BWV. BWV seems too busy and noisy. I like the quiet feel of BCV. Plus my husband and son love SAB - I don't really care for it, but they love it.

The hallways don't seem as long at BCV over BWV. It feels like you walk forever to your room. There are two elevator banks at BCV - one in the center and one at the back of the long wing.

I also like being able to park fairly close to the villa at BCV. Sometimes there is no parking up close at BWV unless you valet park.
