We are spending our 25th wedding anniversary at AKL club level ( concierge) on May 2 2017. I was able to book club level studio from Apr29- May 9 ( 10 nights).
This will be a trip of pure relaxation and indulgence.
Now to plan our trip in January...am undecided between BWV
Boardwalk view or BC V both are available for our dates...really don't like split stays but may consider it.
What are your opinions? Just dh's do myself .

If point cost wasn't an issue I'd choose BCV. That's mostly because I like the pool so much better.

I wouldn't count on using SAB in January. I would pick BWV in January.

We won't be using the pool and the points are actually about the same as a BWV with boardwalk view.

Yes, I am leaning towards BW but one night of our trip there is not a studio available with a Boardwalk view. maybe if I waitlist one night and do that night at BC. Decisions , decisions. I hate to move if I don't have to.

Book the rest and waitlist the one night. Then do what many of us do and stalk the DVC website regularly (it's kind of a fun little game, to me. Heh.) I'll bet you a dole whip you get your missing day locked in well before January. Once it pops up, book it and then call member services and they can merge them into one booking for you.

ENJOY your 25th Anniversary.:love2: Split stays are fun in that you can enjoy both resorts. We do split stays by design just to experience different resorts.:goodvibes

If you are planning on spending much more time at Epcot, then I would recommend Beach Club as it will be a shorter walk. I don't think you will be disappointed in either resort and the walk from BW to Epcot is maybe 5 minutes longer. The big draw to BC is the pool so if you aren't planning on going, then I think it truly is about the decor and feel of the resort. I will say that the view from a boardwalk view room will be much better than any view from BC.
