BCV Occupancy Question

Does anyone know if the 2br will fit 9 when the renovation is complete? Also, if I book now for March will they allow us to book the extra person?

AFAIK, only the studios are getting the pull down bed. So only the lock off 2 bedrooms will sleep 9. Don't know when we will be able to book using the new occupancy limits. Probably have to wait until they know for sure when the renos will be done.

If you check, it'll say nine, but bring your own bedding, and that was before any remodels...go ahead and book...we do one Momma and two kids in the master, one couple in the second bedroom w/2 kids, and we take the pull out.

I don't believe you are allowed to book 10 at any of the resort 2 bedrooms that sleep only 9 right now unless 1 is under 3 so I doubt that they will make any changes except no longer saying that you need to provide bedding for the 9th person. You can't book 10 in 2 bedrooms at BLT or AKL right now and they do sleep 9 already.

If you look at VWL which got the same refurb you can book 9 adults plus 1 under 3 in either dedicated or lockoff 2BR's. Nothing changed to 10 over the age of 3. I'd assume that BCV will be the same. So the dedicated 2BR would still just have sleeping space for 8 and you would have to bring bedding for the 9th but the lockoffs would have the extra murphy bed so you wouldn't need to bring bedding for the 9th. Interesting lthough for VWL - the DVC booking website still doesn't indicate the murphy bed in the lock-off and says you'll need to provide bedding for the 9th. It has been updated to note the murphy bed for the studio though.

VGF 2-BR lockouts allow ten legally.

That is because they actually have 10 sleeping spaces- the dedicated 2 bedrooms with only 9 sleeping spaces do not allow 10. That is why I think that they will not allow more than 9 in any of the current 2 bedrooms even if they have 9 beds. I can see those without 9 beds allowing 8+1 (which they do) but not those they have changed allowing another.

Everyone was over 3. I think it was last summer.
