BCV new check in area

Has anyone been to the new check in at BCV? Do you have pictures? I'm not sure if this makjes me feel special or not included. How about you?

Neither. It just seems practical for the resort and convenient for DVC members.

Several people have reported on it but I haven't seen a picture. It's located where the DVC CMs used to stand.

We just got back from BCV and we loved the new check in area. The CMs are not only there to check you in , they also greet you as you come in/out of the villas. I personaly loved it, we had Sissy attending the desk, she was always so cheerful in the morning and greeted us with a huge smile when we got back from the parks in the afternoon and asked how our day was

I'm sorry I have stayed at the BCV once and not sure were the CM's stand. I know I go past the mermaid to get to the elevators. Am I close? Thanks

Sorry. Yep, walk past Ariel and as you enter, you're in the BCV lobby. The desk is immediately to your left in that little lobby. The elevators are to the right.

Just wondering....how many computers are at the new check in area? Will there be a longer wait to check in if there are a number of members arriving at the same time? Is this check in for members only or do cash customers check in here also? When arriving by Magical Express or even your own transportation, do they direct you to the DVCcheck in or do you have to go through the lobby? Don't know if anyone has the answers, but any response will help us in our arrival plans for our family December vacation...Thanks.

Someone posted there are two terminals and one printer. It is not a large space but then BCV is not a large resort.

It was also posted that bell services was directing BCV guests to the right spot. I haven't seen anyone post about it but I wonder if security at the gate is doing the same.

Thanks to the DIS, we'll know to park in the BCV lot and proceed to checkin next time we're there.

I would certainly guess that cash guests would check in at BCV too.

our home resort is BWV and I hope they go to a seperate area. That check in line can get pretty long. A seperate area would work for me!
If we can't get in at the Boardwalk, our next favorite hotel is the BCV. We just like that area

Wow! This is the first I'm hearing of this, and I think it's Great!

I never thought the check-in was all that efficient at BC, and I certainly never felt like I was "welcomed home" in any sincere way. . .it sounds like this change could be a breath of fresh air for us DVCers!! Not going to BCV this Nov for the first time in 3 years, but I'll look forward to the new check-in next year!
