I'm listening to an early Feb podcast, and I just heard the DIS podcast team mention this. Can anyone provide me with more info or direct me to a website?

Thanks!

I LOVE the movies on the beach. As you can see, it's not exactly packed-

Each night there's a different movie, and the info of which movie/which night is in your info packet at check-in. The listing of movies changes for different months. In September, I got to see "Finding Nemo" on Thursday, but in December, they weren't showing it. The time changes with the sunset, in September, the movie was shown at 9:00, in December, it was at 7:00. Occassionally, there's a private party on the beach. If that's the case, the movie's shown at SAB.

There's usually never a huge crowd. We went twice in December and I think there were 12 people there (including the 4 of us). We watched Meet The Robinsons and Pirates. They had marshmallows and such, too, if you wanted to do that. It's run by the Rec Staff.

Loved it. It was relaxing and to not have to trek anywhere else for some easy and free entertainment was nice.

I hope they don't do away w/ it till we get a chance to see the movies, campfire, etc.

We will be at Beach Club Villas on April 1st for a week.

POOL is now OPEN till 10PM!!!!

If we are staying at BWV can we come over or is this only open to YC/BC?

We watched a few movies last June. Just pull up a chair and enjoy. It was great, especially since it was new to us. The kids played in the sand and watched CARS. It wasn't crowded at all.

Actually, the first time I went to the BCV movies, I was staying at the BWV. Earlier in the week, I'd stayed at BCV and seen that "Finding Nemo" was on a night I was scheduled to be staying at BWV (not by choice-my BCV waitlist never came thru). Another thing I should mention that's fun-I saw a few people do it-is to stop at B&C beforehand, get some ice cream for watching the show.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking we might trek to FW for the Campfire, but this sound great too.

Don't forget that they sometimes have the campfire sing along with marshmallows before the movie as well. My kids loved that!

is there a schedule anywhere?

or do you have to be staying at the BCV to even see the schedule?

we just got back from a BWV stay and they show them at 7:00 pm on the beach at YC/BC. we walked over to beaches and cream one evening and there were about 4-people watching (was cold that night though).
