Just got back yesterday from staying a week at BCV room 304 2 br. Before going I was a little concerned about some things I read on some threads about how some people thought it needed a refurb. I personally thought the place was looking pretty good. In the hallways you could see the high traffic areas on the rugs but no outright stains or odors that some people reported. Inside our room some of the chairs were a little bit nicked or worn, the fridge and the dishwasher had a little rust on a couple of corners the rugs were a little worn if you looked close enough but nothing bad.The beds were very comfortable. The walls looked like they got a new coat of paint. The bathrooms looked real good. Everything inside and out was very clean. While looking for another elevator when ours was down for a day I did notice one hallway changed from the green flowered carpet to an ugly stripe design. Maybe I lucked out with my room or maybe my tastes are little different then others, but all and all I thought the place was looking pretty good.I can definitely see why this resort is popular with the closeness to Epcot, the seashore kind of feeling and IMHO the best pool area SAB.

We spent 2 nights at BCV after the Member Cruise and had a fabulous time. Every so often, I looked around the room and resort for tired, ugly things, but did not see anything. We had a first floor studio. A cabinet door fell off 1 hinge, and a repair person came very quickly.

Interesting that at BCV they took the glass out of the cabinets, at BWV, the glass is still in the kitchen cabinets.

I was wondering about the whole no glass in the cabinets myself. It actually looks good that way. From the resort perspective it cuts down on repair or damage.
