BCV in October

Hey all,

I should be fully closed on my BCV resale contract in a few weeks. I am going to want to travel in October for Epcot F&W festival. Unfortunately, this will likely be just inside the 7 month window when my closing finally finishes. Sad, cant stay at the place that I will own !!

I am extremely flexible (I would go any week in October) and would probably want a studio.

What do you all think the chances of me getting a week in October (any week) at BCV at the 6 mo window? Any idea which week in October would be the best to request for waitlist that would give me the best chance? I would think that Columbus day (week) and Halloween would be the busiest weeks (and to stay away)??

I own at VWL and got a studio in Oct at BCV - think I called at around 5 months and can't remember if I was on the waitlist or not - every time I've gotten on the waitlist it's come through so I think your chances are pretty good.

I own at BWV, also very popular and quickly sold out for F&W festival. I waited (for what reason, I know not ) before trying to get a ressie for 2nd week in October and wound up actually calling MS after the 7month out period began (can you tell I wasn't thinking?LOL). Anyway - I got exactly what I wanted! Be sure to be flexible with your dates though - that helps. Remember F&W goes til the second week in November, so you do have choices. I also did not book a full week, just a few nights, I think that helped as well, although I did get a standard one bedroom at BW and the standards go so fast! Maybe you could post an ad on the rent board looking for someone to trade points with you? They could make your ressie now and when you close, you make a ressie for them?
