BCV -Huricane Hanna's Grill

just so you're clear, it's an outdoor walkup counter near the pool. The food is ok... for by the pool. Just not sure what you mean by "planning your meals" and to be aware that it's pretty much pick up and go back to your seat..or there are tables there, but it's not a 'restaurant' but still nice to grab a bite!

Thanks...we have the quick service plan for the last 2 nights of our stay which are at BCV. The only places it lists are the marketplace and Hanna's. Hanna's menu seems to have a bit more..plus we prob don't want lunch and dinner form the same place so I wanted to make sure it was open in september....i don't remember it last time we were there.

We were there in April and it took FOREVER to get our food. The service was below terrible. The CMs working there had no idea what they were doing! There was tons of food sitting under the heat lamps and they just stood there not knowing they should be filling orders. Finally, I offered to come back and help them (as did the lady behind me) and the bartender moved over and got things moving. They also will fill the orders for the wandering waitresses before you, even if you order first. Long story short--don't head over there if there are a lot of people at the counter. Try to slip in during a slower time!

You may want to wander over to the Boardwalk and pick up some lunch from the bakery--yummy sandwiches and waaaaaay better desserts for the same CS points.

Thanks for the idea...I hadn't thought of that..the boardwalk is in walking distance? I seem to have a vague memory of that....

Definitely walking distance. We'll pop over to Big River just for a beer in the evenings. One day we were on our way back on the bus, which stops at BW first.. so I got off there, ordered a pizza and walked back to BCV not much later than the rest got back to the room.
