BCV - How are the pull out beds?

I am trying to pull together a trip for August. My DS wants to stay at POP. My best friend has decided to come with us, so I was thinking of staying our last 2 nights at BCV or BWV. I was looking at a studio. I was wondering how the pull out beds are to sleep in? Would they be comfortable enough for me and my DS (6 yo) to share?

IMO they aren't horrible, but not comfortable either. I slept on one during our BCV stay last year. DS refused to sleep there, so he ended up with DH in the bed, DD was on the floor in an air mattress. They are only double beds, so there isn't much room for two people. For a couple of nights it probably would be doable, but don't expect a full-nights sleep! I slept there for 5 nights, and it was very uncomfortable!

We stay in the DVC Studios all the time. My experience with the pullout beds is that they are much better than what you would think. They are much better than the ones that I have used at home. I have never had a complaint from anyone that has used the pullout on any of my many trips.

I have lots of experience with the foldouts at BCV. They're my points but I'm usually the one on the fold out. What's up with that? Why don't you put your friend on the foldout since there's one of her and two of you?

Anyway, it's doable. As someone already said, they're not horrible but not like your own bed at home either. I've never felt any big bars under the mattresses like in other foldouts. The ones in the 1BR seem to be a little bigger than the studio ones. I've slept with my 9 yo granddaughter on the 1BR one but never with anyone on the studio one.

To be honest, after a day in the parks, I take a couple Tylenol PM's and I could sleep anywhere.
