I assume there is a gift shop with groceries near the lobby area of BCV? What times does it close? We probably will not arrive until 8pm at night and am hoping to grab some breakfast items that night.

If it is closed by the time we get there, what times does it open in the morning?

Are there any good quick service breakfast options nearby?

We will be waiting for the bus to take us on our cruise and want to hang out by the pool that morning and have breakfast by the pool and am trying to figure out the best options to do that.

The BC Marketplace opens around 7 - 7:30. Has a decent selection of groceries.

You have the Bakery on the Boardwalk. That is your best choice. No pancakes, bacon but you can get egg sandwiches. You can get something and sit at a table overlooking the lake. There are also of TS restaurants in that area - Kouzzina's at BW, Cape May, Captain's Grille at BC/YC, Garden Grove at Swan, Fresh at the Swan.

The grocery and quick serve for BCV are in the back of their main store which is on your left as you enter the lobby. It seems to open around 7A and closes at 11p so you'll be fine.

BC marketplace carries grocery items (cereals, munchies, bread, milk, etc).

allears.net:
Breakfast 7 - 11 a.m.
Scrambled Egg Platter - with bacon, potato casserole and a biscuit $6.79
Breakfast Sandwich - - with bacon, egg, cheese, potato casserole $6.99

the BW bakery offers fresh-baked goodies, and b'fast foods.

in addition, there are hot b'fast options at the BC/YC, and nearby at the BW, and swan/dolphin.
personally, we like kouzzina (BW) for hot bfasts. while a TS, prices are reasonable, food is varied and fresh. the picabu buffet at the dolphin is pretty good also.

btw, check portable perks/ask about DVC discounts :)

I'm confused, where is this platter and sandwich? At the Boardwalk Bakery?

Thanks for the replies.

The above are at the BC Marketplace. There is a QS location at the back of the gifts shop area, not far from the villas at all. It also is the area with grocery items.

There's a Beach Club Marketplace thread over on the Resort Board, although I don't think anybody has posted on it in about a month:

Also, there is a great YC/BC/BCV FAQ thread over on the Resort Board. Sounds like this is your first trip to BCV - you might want to check out that thread. Here's the current link, but every few months it reaches its maximum number of pages and they start a new thread:

Have you considered using a delivery service for groceries? Highly recommend Garden Grocer.

I was surprised to see this old thread pop up. Thanks for all the replies.

We have used and like Garden Grocer but I just needed a couple of things so Garden Grocer wouldn't have worked because of the minimum order.

We ended up renting a car and stopping at the store to pick up a quick breakfast for the morning in the room before we drove to Port Canaveral.
