BCV first time help

All you Guys and Gals are great! We bought at BCV 2002, but have used are points for the Dis Cruises.This will be my first time booking a 1Br at the famous BCV. It will be myself. Dw,Ds-11,and Dd-8. Any suggestions on Rooms, should I give these requests when I book.(I know that nothing is guarenteed). Or anything else I might have to do or ask when I call next week? Can't wait to set that count down! Thanks.

Ask for what you want such as: (most important 1st) non smoking, top floor, Epcot view. We have always received non smoking, top floor, but only once out of 3 got Epcot view. But quiet pool view is really nice too, so I was happy. That's all I have asked for but what I do when I am checking in is politely remind the CM working the front desk of my request. They have always looked at the room assigned to me and tried to help me get my requests. BCV is so nice. I have been on the Magic twice, hard to beat those vacations but ... BCV is great with the choice of the quiet pool or SAB pool and the walk to Epcot can't be beat.

We like the quiet pool view personally...the lights on the bridge look pretty at night, we like being able to bop down to the hot tub after a long day's walking through the parks, and there are cute little ducks that wander that area.

I also prefer the pool view...it is very pretty. The "Epcot side" may get you a view of trees and some noise from the service road OR a wonderful view of Spaceship Earth. Sandie B

We bought BCV in 02 also and made our first trip home in 03/04. We did not request a certain view, just a dedicated 2 bedroom, non-smoking, and 4th or 5th floor (I thought it would make less chance of hearing road noise.) We got 4th floor and a great view of SSE, my kids LOVED it!!! But, I think the pool view would be nice also. We are doing a quicky trip to OKW in October....can't wait!!!!!

To date I believe we've had every view one can have at BCV (SSE, Quiet Pool, Woods, and the area between BCV and Beach Club views) and frankly I haven't had a problem with any of the views. However, I did like the view we had of the Epcot laser and fireworks display (even if we did have to crane our necks a bit to see the display).

We have always asked for non smoking and non 1st floor. In our view if they meet those two requests we are content and anything else is just a bonus.

We are going back yet again in October. To say that we are pleased with our purchase (actually lease) would be a big understatement.
