BCV dedicated 2br question

I know that when you make your ressie at most of the DVC resorts, they can tell you if you have a lock-off or a dedicated 2 br. I would assume (correctly?) that BCV can tell you that much. Do they, however, know whether or not you have a 2 queen room or a pull-out bed room? My impression was that this was a request, but not a sure thing, like with lock-off versus dedicated, just like asking for pool view or other such requests.

If I KNEW I was getting 2 queens, it would make it much more attractive than BWV with a studio bed, but if there's no guarantee and a pull-out either way...... I like my standard view points at BWV!

If you want a dedicated 2 bedroom you book it when you book your trip. If you want a lock off you need to also book that.

Same with the 2 queen beds at the BCV, book it or you will not get it. It can not be requested, it has to be booked.

We had a dedicated 2 BR last July when BCV just opened. It had one Queen bed and a pull out. Since then, I have read on these boards that all the 2 BR dedicated were to be switched to 2 Queen beds. This was of particular interest to me, because we have 4 children. My suggestion to this is to call Disney and see if this was done. I am almost positive that this switch was completed already. You could always stay at OKW, all 2 bdrms, dedicated and lockoff, have 2 queens.

i believe you can now guarantee 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom at BCV. (i.e. it is considered a separate room category)

they were not able to fix all of the dedicated 2bdrms. so there are only 25 2-bdrms that have 2 queens in the 2nd bedroom. the other 53 dedicated 2-bdrms have 1 queen bed and 1 queen sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom.

You must now specifically request the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom and they are quaranteed. I also thought it was a request but as of sometime this year there are now 3 different 2 bedrooms that you can request and be quaranteed, lock-off, dedicated 2 beds and dedicated one bed and a sofa-sleeper
