Am leaving tomorrow morning for a week at BCV and have a 'dedicated' 2 bedroom. I've been assured it's not a lock off. They describe the layout as a double bed and a sofa in the room. Is that the norm? I don't care but am curious about the difference in the layout of the dedicated vs the lock off.

Thanks

Some of the BCV dedicated two bedrooms have two beds in the second bedroom, some don't. There is apparently a very small room size difference that makes putting two beds in some of them not kosher (ADA stuff?). The lockoffs will have an exterior door in the second bedroom.

Hi Debbie,

First, if you haven't seen Diszip's BCV website, go there and take a look. There are floorplans of the 2 bedroom dedicated and lockoff villas as well as the building room map and pics from different rooms. It's great.

Second, there are two types of 2 bedroom dedicated villas that you can reserve, either one with a Queen and sofabed or with 2 queens in the second bedroom. It sounds like the CM was indicating you had a queen and pullout sofa version. There are 78 dedicated 2 bedroom villa's and only 25 of them have the 2 queens in the second bedroom. There are also 74 2 bedroom lock-off's. If my theory is correct all of the 2 queen rooms do not have a door to the balcony, just a window.

Lastly, the dedicated rooms will have more space. The space is not being wasted with a doorway or kitchenette.

Hope you have a great time at BCV! It's great!
