BCV Connecting Rooms

We’re going to request connecting rooms for our August 2025 family trip. Getting two 1 bedrooms and one studio. I looked at the room layouts and it looks like it’s possible as there are studios and one bedrooms connected.

Anyone have experience requesting multiple connecting rooms at the BCV? If we make it our top request, the only other request would be third floor of higher, what do you think the chances will be?

We mentioned the 2-bed lock-off to replace one of the 1-rooms and the studio. You would still want to book the separate 1-bedroom.

And that 2-bedroom lock-off would require less points than booking the 1-bedroom & studio separately.

That would put 8 people, 4 adults and 4 children in a two bedroom. While my son and daughter, their spouses and 4 grandchildren all get along great that would be way to crowded for a week. It’s works out much better for them having the one bedrooms. That’s what we did in 2022 and our studio was connected to my sons one bedroom but my daughters 1 bedroom was across the hall. Connecting rooms just makes it easier to watch the grandchildren at night if the parents go for a night out.

So get a 2 bed lock off and a 1 bedroom and have MS make a note that y'all are traveling together.

Good luck you may get one bedroom and studio but i think hard to guarantee all three. We order two one bedroom connecting and couldn’t get it.is just luck if you do . We got a guarantee for onedroom and a studio. That you would get. Good luck

Sorry, there are no one bedrooms that connect to another one bedroom in any DVC resort. Only studio connecting to one bedroom to create a two bedroom. You can book two one bedrooms and ask for them to be near each other but that’s the best you can hope for.

Since a 1 bedroom and studio make a 2 bedroom lock off, and that is a booking category, it’s not a request and the chances of them doing it as a request are slim because they might not have a studio and 1 bedroom that connect opening the same day.

I agree with others, if you can, book a 2 bedroom lock off and a 1 bedroom. At least you are guaranteed that two of the rooms are connected and can ask for the your yo be close. Though, we have been on different floors when traveling with others so be aware that does happen.
