Bcv chances at 9 months

What are the chances for a 1 bdrm during May at BCV if I can't book until 9 months out?
Renting points to a friend and I don't think the closing for our bcv contract will happen before then. It's is her first trip and I wouldn't want to dissapointed them. Should I have them rent elsewhere to be safe?

IMO, your chances are quite good. May is one of the easier months to book at 7 months and you will book before then. Also, studios and 2 bedrooms go much faster than the 1 bedrooms.

FWIW, my advice is to wait and try to book BCV (I think you will be successful). If you can't get in, waitlist until the 7 month window opens. Then see what is available for your friend to choose from at 7 months. But keep the BCV waitlist (if that is where your friend really wants to be) and book a back up at his/her second choice. I really think your friend will end up in the 1 bedroom at BCV.

AT BCV, 1BRs have been open even at 7 months out for all of May for the last three years.

i agree, nine month window should work for one bedroom in may. good luck.

I booked a 1bdr for may15-19 in February. You have to be patient. I booked the 14, 17-19 and waitlisted the 15&16. I took the chance that I would hae to move during my trip. I go all the waitlist within two weeks. As lon as you are willing to stay somewhere else if needed everything can work

I was able to get a BCV studio (I know you are asking about 1 BR's) for 10 days the week before and over Easter by booking right at 7 months. Got the first 7 days and then called back each day to add the last 3. If I was able to get an Easter reservation at 7, I can't imagine you'll have a huge problem getting something in May at 9.
