BCV & BWV pools

We are considering the BCV or BWV next May for our first trip to WDW. Does anyone know if you stay at the BCV can you use the BWV pool and vice versa?
Any info would be appreciated.

Guests of the Beach Club Villas may use Storm Along Bay at the Yacht and Beach Club, guests of the Boardwalk Villas may use the pool at the Boardwalk.

Plus they can both use their respective quiet pools. Dunes Cove at BCV and whatever it's name is at BWV.

No pool hopping unless you are a DVC member using points to stay at a DVC resort and pool hopping is permitted during that time. However, no pool hopping ever to SAB.

People renting points from DVC members are not entitled to the DVC member perks.
