BCV / BWV in October/ 7 months out?

What are my chances of getting a 1br or studio at either BCV / BWV at 7 months out, mid October?
Tried last year but couldn't get anything at the end of Oct

I think your best chance will be a 1 bedroom at BWV. You should call day by day. The F&W is very popular, and lots of the other owners try to get into BWV or BCV for convenience. It seems to me that the earlier in the month the better. I hope you get it!

Thanks for the reply we are going from the 16th Oct to the 25th Oct
I'm planning on trying day by day
we have enough points for either a studio or 1 bedroom

I also think that your best chance is 1 b at BWV. A few years ago, I tried to book the remainder of our vacations (didn't have enough BCV points) at 7 months and I had to be put on a waitlist because the BCV is a smaller resort and a lot less 1 bed. So I booked a studio initially while waiting for the waitlist and it never turned up. That was before all the popularity of the Food and Wine Festival. So I never even think I would get a 1 bed at that time at BCV anymore if I don't call at the 11 month period.
