We leave on Friday for a week at BCV. :cool1: We usually drive to the parks instead of taking disney transport. I've read about waits/crowds/hassles with the buses at BC/BCV and the other resorts on the bus loop. For MK - would you drive to TTC and take the monorail or would you take the bus? Is the bus for the Epcot resorts really as bad as I've heard?

TIA :goodvibes

Hi! :thumbsup2

We returned 2 weeks ago from our stay at the Beach Club. I also heard horror stories about the buses at the BC and was a little hesitant in booking, but I ran with it and loved every minute. As a matter of fact I am planning our Holiday Trip this December and will definitely book BC. The buses were absolutely fine. They were no later than any of the other buses I noticed. I think the longest I waited for a bus was about 10-15 minutes and I traveled right smack in the middle of the busiest time at the World. We had a great stay and I hope you have the same:wizard: :wizard:

I definitely agree with vicceja, we used the buses in Sept 06 & they were fine. I am some what of a self proclaimed control freak, so I usually prefer to drive. I just like the idea of jumping on the monorail & not getting on a crowded bus when I go to the MK.

We have stayed at the BCV/BC several times, and are going back this October. We have had maybe one or two times out of all the times we waited for buses that we felt it was extreme. Once for Downtown Disney and once for Animal Kingdom, on the whole it has never been a problem. So enjoy and don't worry about it, and if one bus is late remember that they are moving thousands of people around at that very moment and it really is a miracle that they pretty much 99% of the time get it 100% right.

Haven't had too many issues with busses in 6 stays at Epcot resorts. In fact, I think they've actually tried to improve because there were so many complaints. Longest waits usually for DTD/Typhoon Lagoon.

I would just take the bus to MK. By the time you park, take the tram to the TTC and take the ferry or monorail to MK entrance, your bus would've dropped you off already.

At the end of the day, it's a matter of personal preference. The last thing I want to do on vacation is drive. I usually spend 2-3 hours in traffic most days. I don't mind waiting for busses even the long waits. My cousin's husband likes to drive because he likes to be in control of his time.

The only park bus you would use at BC would the MK bus and the AK bus (walk/boat to Epcot and MGM). When they have EMH at AK they put a lot of extra busses on the route so the wait time is great, but otherwise we prefer to drive there. We usually take the MK bus though. :)

The bus from BC/BCV is much easier than driving to the TTC and getting a shuttle to the TTC, then catching either a boat or the monorail.
