BCV bathroom door thickness?

All of our stays are in the BCV and up until the past few years have requested the upper floors. Over the past few years we have elected a first floor studio. The only drawback is that many of the first floor studios (if not all) do not come equipped with the installed panel of hooks just as you come into the studio as all other studios at BCV. Last year we purchased a plastic “over the door” type hook but found out that the bathroom door is thicker that the normal door. Can anyone tell me the thickness of those doors so I can attempt to find something that will work and take the place of the omitted hooks? (they have a reason why they have been omitted them, it has something to do with the studio hallway space/layout on the first floor).

I've got to say, your title really had me curious. But now I can see it is not what I originally thought.

Of my 29 stays at BCV I have never stayed on the 1st floor, and hope I never have to, I prefer upper floors. Don't know why there are no hooks on the first floor.
My guess would be that the doors are 1 3/4 inch thick compared to the 1 3/8 inch thick doors typical in most homes, so look for a hook that will fit a 1 3/4 inch door, or perhaps an adjustable one.

Up until two years ago all my stays were on the top floor but we found it to be easier staying on the first floor as long as it wasn’t along the main hallways or near the laundry facilities. Thanks for the information, will try and find an adjustable door hook at a specialty store.

Get some snap hooks that will suck onto a smooth surface. As long as the door is smooth enough, they might work on the door. I usually use them in the bathroom on the tile wall.
