BCV Balconies?

We're arriving at BCV on Friday of this week, so it may already be too late for requests.

But I was wondering if there are any 1 bedrooms that have larger balconies than than others? We do like to spend time on the balcony on vacation.

Also, which direction should I request if I want a quiet room that is close to Epcot? Any suggestions?

Balcony sizes do vary but all are large enough to accommodate two chairs and a table.

None of the rooms are far from Epcot. Some of the quietest rooms are probably those farthest from Epcot though as they are also away from both sets of elevators.

We've not really had noise issues other than on the first floor...and also with one rude family across the hall on one trip.

I know this hasn't been much help but maybe just request quiet room, close to Epcot. Good luck and have fun.

Yep, there are big differences in balcony size at BCV.

I'd suggest sticking to the "big balcony" request and not complicate things with additional info. While I have no proof or anything, I feel you are more likely to get your one request if it is alone, rather than mixed in with others.

Besides, pretty much all the rooms at BCV are equal distance from Epcot (you'll probably be taking a central elevator) and I've never noticed much difference in noise.

I requested ground floor dedicated one bedroom and received room 136. My other choice would have been to request room 266 because of the balcony space. If you open the link, you will see what I mean.

Thanks to this thread I just added a room request to our May ressie for a larger-balcony room. I'm not gonna go asking for a specific room number - I feel like that is pushing it. I'm with the PP who said they generally try to limit their requests to one, in the hopes that it gets taken seriously and honored.

I once had a HUGE balcony that overlooked the quiet pool. I had the end room, basically as far from the elevator, as you could get.

Just checking? Do all dedicated one bedrooms have the entryway closet? I had not previously requested dedicated, but I think that extra closet could be a big help since we're now 4 'big' people.
