BCV at 7month window for May 08?

I'm wondering what my chances are of getting a 2 BR at BCV for late May of 2008 at the 7 month window? I am planning to make my reservation at 11 months for SSR and AKV, but I am wanting to switch the SSR portion (3 days) to BCV at 7 months. Anyone know how difficult this might be? My little sister (who will be 18) has decided she wants to go with us next year now, and she really wants to stay at BCV.

Also, will I need to do day-by-day, or do you think I can wait until the last day to do the whole thing? I would rather do that because I will probably need to cancel my SSR reservation to make the BCV reservation or I will have to dip into 2009 points and I don't want to do that.

Any advice/input would be appreciated...

It's a crap shoot. We have had success at times when we expected to have problems and wait listed during what we feel is the slow season. If you are willing to take what they give you, you will have better luck.

We have only gotten BCV once after a number of times of trying at the 7 month window. The one time we did get in was for May of last year, but as PP mentioned, it is a crapshoot. I have tried after that point with no success. Good luck though. It was alot of fun and we really enjoyed it!

Give it a try. I just got BC for December which is a very busy time. I didn't book day by day because it seemed like such a pain. Plus, you are only staying three nights. If you need to waitlist, do it day by day and I think you will be fine.

I've been lucky to get a few days/weekdays or weekends at BCV in a studio in May for a few years now. I don't have any idea about 2 bedrooms, but some years I have booked 2 studios during that time.

Unless you want/need a 2 bedroom with 2 queen beds in the second bedroom, I think you have a good shot. May is one of the easier months to get into BCV at 7 months.

Friday and Saturday nights are much easier to book at 7 months than are the other nights of the week, so if your 3 days includes the weekend, your chances are even better.

Yes we just got BVC for AUG studio I was surprised.

We just got back from BCV and booked 7 months out. I called day by day just to be on the safe side.

We just returned from the lock-out 2BR at BCV this past May. I think I booked just over 6 months out, and was told the lock-out was the only one available, but I did get this on my first phone call, without calling day by day. I thought I would be disappointed by the 2 connecting rooms, but they were just fine. And although my kids weren't excited about sleeping on the pull out couches, they were very comfortable.
