BCV at 7 months

hello all! I am in the process of securing DH's Christmas present...a quick 5 day trip in May for the sole purpose of SWW (with time thrown in for me so we can check out the MK expansion as we will just be missing it next month) I'm only getting a studio because we're only staying 5 nights and won't be in our villa as much as we usually are during longer trips. We're booked at SSR now, but I'd like to move us to BCV when our 7 month window opens up. What are my chances for getting a studio at BCV for May 15-20? TIA!

Before I owned at BC Villas I was always lucky in getting a 7 month change for a 2 bedroom. So I think you have a good chance if you call first thing in the morning on the 7 month exactly. Good Luck

My home resort is SSR also and we have never had a problem getting BCV at 7 months, we got it last year for May no problem and got it this year for spring break.
Make sure to call first thing in the morning at 7 month mark.

My experience for May is that it's an easy time to change resorts and that has included BCV.

I would recommend booking online to get a one hour advantage over those that use the phone.

Thanks everyone! My only issue with that is DH and I will actually be at the World when our 7 month window opens and this is a surprise for Christmas for him. I'm still trying to figure out how to ditch him so I can pull it off. I'm hoping I can get site up on my phone and do it that way.

Oh easy one! While he is occupied, perhaps poolside with a tasty beverage, you excuse yourself to use the restroom. Take your phone! A quick call to MS should take care of it.

lol. i booked my first trip on my i phone in carsland for christmas as a surprise. my hands were shaking the whole time & thought i would go blind after i got it. i hope it works out!!!

I didn't get either beach club or boardwalk for our F & W trip (duh) waitlisted it and Beach Club came thru May is a much easier time to you

Just an FYI: one bedrooms are almost always the easiest to get with studios and 2 bedrooms being harder. Many don't want to pay the extra points for a one bedroom when you still only have one bed and a sofa bed.

As to booking in May, as others have said it is not as difficult as the Food and Wine or early Dec but to book as soon as they open, as many to go to the Flower and Garden show at Epcot.
