Hi! We are going to be going to the BCV in May for the first time and was wondering if I should just request a room number instead of all these:

non smoking
upper floor/balcony (sea breeze point view if possible as we were married there)
tub needed for back injury

Thanks so much. (We are so excited!!)

I wouldn't request a specific room. Your chances of getting it are VERY slim. Instead requests what you want by priority. If you need a bath tub for medical reason- then tell them that. If it is requested for medical reasons- your bound to get it.

4orm,

I'm also going to be there in May, Memorial Day weekend.

I always make my requests with specific room numbers and have had very good luck.
I'm not sure what you mean by "sea breeze", the closest you'll get to that would be the quiet pool/canal view, which is very nice.
If your looking for something a little more quiet request a woods view.
I always insist on something close to the main elevators, I don't like the long walk to the lobby from the far end of the building.
I may be mistaken but I believe all the studios have a tub except the handicapped accessible ones.
Lastly I would avoid 1st floors rooms unless it were on the pool side and it was important to be able to walk right out to the pool.

Good Luck, and have a good trip.

Good advice. You can raise your expectations high with a very narrow margin of success and then end up dissappointed.
