We're planning on staying at our home resort of BCV for 11 nights in Sept 2005 and also GF Concierge for 3 or 4 nights. Should we go to the GF first or last? We've eaten there before but not stayed there.
I think we should go GF last to savour the luxury but DH say first...what do you think?
Thanks Gill

I think it all depends on what size room you are getting at BCV. If you are staying in a 1 bedroom do GF first, if you are staying in a studio, do GF last. Going from a 1 bedroom to a regular hotel room would feel really small.

Actually, it is a win win situation. BCV and GF... life is good!:D

From my own personal experience, I agree with you that you should do BCV's first and then go over to GF ;)

When we've stayed at 2 different resorts and the 2nd part was a step down from the first (ie. we stayed at the GF first 2 nights and then moved to POR-R for 7 more), we longed to be back at the GF -- POR-R was wonderful mind you but not quite the same as getting to stay at the GF:eek:

However, being that you'll be staying DVC, it may depend on which room size you get as to if GF will be a step up or down lol.
If you're staying in a studio, then I'd definetly go to BCV's first and move over to GF 2nd but if you'll be in a 1 or 2 bdrm villa, moving to the GF to just a room would actually be the lesser of the 2 resorts -- although you'd have concierge. Tough call but depends on your room size at BCV's

Good luck!;)

I like to combine a stay at the Polynesian with a stay at BCV and prefer to do the Polynesian first and am sure I'll do the same next time we stay st the GF, too.

The main reason I prefer it this way is the washer/dryer at BCV.:sunny: I pack enough for our stay at the Polynesian and then can just do laundry at the BCV for the rest of the trip.

I do agree about reversing that if you'll be in a studio at BCV.

For me, the GF or Polynesian is not a step down in the least from the BCV 1 or 2 BR...just a different experience.
