Going first week of November (off peak) for six days, six people in group( four adults, two children). What should I expect for my best deal for a 2 bedroom villa at either the Beach Club Villas or the Boardwalk Villas? They seem to be very comparable so we would go with best price. Also, which property would have closer accomodations to pool area, lobby, and parking (renting a minivan), since one of the adults cannot walk too much.

Discounts through CRO at the BCV or BWV can be hard to get since BWV is soldout to DVC members and BCV is almost soldout. You may want to check the DVC Rent/Trade Board to rent points from a member, for weeknights it's a good deal. 6 nights in a 2 bedroom would be 221 points, assuming one weekend night. 5 weeknights would be 160 points. They usually go for $10 per point.

I'm not sure what type of discounts would be available, but you may want to check into renting points from a DVC owner - there is a board dedicated just to this topic.

As far as location - the main pool at BW is on the BWV side - the resort is quite large though and you would want to make sure and request a unit close to the lobby/elevators due to physical conditions. It can't be guaranteed, but they'll do what they can. If you aren't close to the elevators there is a chance the room could be pretty far down some halls, but will still be on the same side as the main pool and quiet pool.

As far as the BCV - you would be closer to the Int'l gateway, but further from the lobby and SAB regardless of where you stayed. That isn't to say its not convenient - there is a quiet pool for BCV, but its a separate building from BC completely.

Hope that helps some - good luck!

Both resorts have valet parking at $6.00 per day + tips unless you are a DVC member but you can self-park right at one end of BCV which is VERY convenient.

BWV is larger than BCV and you have to go outside to the BW to go to any restaurants. While you also have to go outside at BCV to go their restaurants at least you are under a covered walkway. This is especially nice when its raining, believe me.

If you're going to rent from a DVC member, you need to check into it ASAP. That time period may be off-season for WDW in general, but it's a pretty busy season for DVC. Between the uncrowded parks, the good (but not hot) weather, the lower point requirements and the Food & Wine Fest at Epcot, those rooms go pretty fast at BWV and BCV.

I would expect the rack rates at both Villas to be about the same. And I wouldn't expect any discounts on them, for the reasons listed above. With two kids, though, you might want to try for BCV. The pool there is great. Diana

I would also check out renting points from a DVC member. This is what we are doing in Sept. We will be there a Sun-Thurs--so we won't be renting an expensive weekend night. Anyway, the price difference between rack rate and renting was a little over $1600! We saved a fortune by renting points!:) :) :) :)

I just rented points for BWV and the savings is awesome vs rack rates. Definately check out the DVC rent/trade board.
