BCV - 2 BR Question

We just booked a dedicated 2 BR at BCV this morning for August. When we made our ressie, they told us that they only had dedicated 2 BRs with queen & sleeper sofa available. We are fine with this since our boys will be sleeping in this bed and they really won't care and it gives them more room to play when the bed is put away!

Anyway, my question. We would like a room that is located on one of the higher floors but after looking at a room layout site, it seems like most 2 BR on the higher floors have 2 queens.

Just wondering how accurate this site was and if they have many room on the higher floors that have a queen & sleeper sofa.

If you are talking about the floor plans that a DISer published on ParkInfo2go.com, then yes, the floor plans are very accurate. The only exception is that there are no smoking rooms and there is one more 2Q room that was recently identified (# 304). I believe that we have them all now, that brings us to 25 2Q rooms which is what was always rumored as the number.

You are correct that they are not uniformly distributed. Isn't too bad, as long as you don't want the 3rd floor.

1st - 16
2nd - 16
3rd - 3
4th - 12
5th - 4 (partial floor)

Yes Lisa, that is the exact site I was looking at. It is nice to know that the site is accurate. Thanks for all the extra info you provided too. Hopefully we will luck out and get one of the rooms on upper levels.

Another quick question for you. I noticed that the rooms ending in 34 & 54 have some space between the living room and 2nd bedroom since they are on a turn. Are they the same size as all the other 2 BRs?

We had 334 but I have no other 2 BR to compare it to. It was humongous! (and had the 1 bed and sofa bed in the 2nd BR). (Someone will probably post and say it's smaller than the other ones!). That was a fantastic location that I got as a cash reservation (actually it was an upgrade from the studio we booked).

I'm not sure about the size of those rooms but they do have the door to the second bedroom in a different place. At BCV the door is in the foyer but for those 10? rooms it is in the living room similar to BWV and VWL.

Yes, in the foyer (where the door would be in the other rooms), there is a large closet. The door to the 2nd bedroom is in the back of the living room, where the TV armoire would normally be.

We were just in rooms 429/427 this past weekend and the Studio (#427) had the queen bed and the sofa bed.
