Can someone post a link where I can see what the different 2 bedroom BCVs look like. I tried searching for previous threads on this and had no luck. Thanks! :flower:

The dedicated 2 bedroom will have 2 beds instead of the pull out in the second bedroom, and there will be no door to the hallway from the second bedroom, but other than that, the layout is the same.

Thanks Diane. So is a non dedicated called a lock off and in the room you posted above there is a separate door to the hallway? Also is there a link where you can actually see the rooms in color from different angles? I thought I came across that once before. Thanks.

Tagrel's web site has a photo tour of a 1 BR villa at BCV: http://www.tagrel.com

The DVC website has photos of all the different room types at each resort, but not from all angles, as you requested. Go to: www.disneyvacationclub.com and under "See Our Resorts" select BCV. Then click on "View 360 Room Tour". A new window pops up and once it has finished loading, the 2-BR villa is displayed and you can rotate the picture or click on the little blue squares to see photos of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Back in the larger window, click on "Accommodations" and a page comes up that will show you floorplans of the various villa types.

And finally, allearsnet has some photos of BCV: http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/g_bcv.htm

I dont think all dedicated 2br will have 2 beds . When we went with a couple friends of ours and we got a dedicated 2br (with us in the master of course since its our DVC) I remember going in the other room to get my friend and he was lying on the couch. So I am positive not all dedicated have 2 beds on the other side.

Southtown, there are two kinds of dedicated 2 bedrooms at some of the resorts. Some have two beds and some have a bed and a sleep sofa. Only OKW has 2 queens in all second bedrooms.

I believe that BCV is the only DVC resort with two types of dedicated 2 bedroom room types. These room types are reserved when you make your reservation, but might not be indicated on your confirmation.

There are:
25 dedicated 2 bdrm w/2 queens in the second bedroom,
53 dedicated 2 bdrm w/Q and double sofa in the second bedroom,
74 lock-off 2 bdrms.

Can someone tell me if I didn't request a dedicated room when I reserved does that mean I will get a lock-off? I actually want a lock off so I was wondering if that's something I should call back and request or not. Thanks.

I would call MS and see what you have reserved. If you don't have a lock-off and would like one, you will need to see if there is availibility.

I did just call and checked to see what I have reserved and MS told me I have a dedicated with the sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom. I thought I remembered reading some posts that said the dedicateds were most requested so I didn't realize I should have asked about the lock off. Oh well, I just thought it would be nice for my sister and her family to have their own entrance but I'm sure it'll be fine. Is there any chance at check in that something could change? Does anyone have any experiences with that happening? Thanks. :flower:
