BCV 2 Bedroom December 2019

Hi Experts,
I have been reading other threads about how difficult a 2 BR Villa Reservation in early December 2019 can be to book, specifically at 7 months but some are saying in general.
Booking December is totally new to me. For 15 years we have gone to F & W.
Our home resort is BCV with an April Use Year. I want to book a 2 BR dedicated Villa at BCV at 11 months for December 2019, for Dec 7th - Dec 14th. I have a reminder in Outlook to call at 9 AM Jan 7, 2019 to book.
A couple of questions please.
Am I likely to be able to secure this reservation?
Is January 7, 2019 the right day to call? Is 9 Am the right time to call or should I try to book it online earlier?
Do I need to "walk" this reservation? That is a totally foreign endeavor to me.

You are likely to secure this reservation at 11 months, dedicated.

If you could be online at online open, better, but I don't think the hours will kill you. I also don't think you need to walk a dedicated. If it were a lock-off, yeah.

I did say dedicated, but actually it doesn’t matter to our son staying in the 2nd BR I have been back and forth on which would be best. I believe I am going to go with dedicated.
But why. Is lockoff harder?
Do you know if Jan 7 th is the correct date to reserve?

Lockoff is harder because every studio booking takes one from inventory.

January 7 is your date.

Of course. That makes sense. I hadn’t thought of it that way.

I also think you’ll be fine looking right at 11 months. I almost exclusively book online now and would do so with this but if you feel more comfortable calling in at 9am I also believe that would be fine.

If prior history repeats itself, you will have no problem getting a 2BR at 11 months out, those have typically been open beyond the 11 month window for all of December. Even BCV studios usually have not filled on the first day of an 11 month window for any day in December.
