PS Tagsmissy, did you ever find your unofficial guide? (I think it was you who lost it)

Yeah was me... never found it and of course none avail that I could find at the library.. they had of course 2008 which I own though have lent to my brother's family so they can prepare for their first trip. LOL They have only ever done DL so they will be shocked at WDW -- we have tried to explain the vastness but I think you really need to experience it to truly understand.

LOL they have made wishlists/things they are dying to do:

Nephew -- Expedition Everest
Niece 1 -- CHURROS!! :rotfl2: and not freaking out and bailing on the Haunted Mansion
Niece 2 - "Am I tall enough for Rock in Roller Coaster yet?" We measure her ever other week at her request lol she's at the point that with shoes we think she'll be over the height requirement. And Dill Pickles -- anybody know if they sell the big dill pickles at WDW like they do at DL? I've never noticed.
Brother-- Expedition Everest and Dole Whip -- we're going to introduce him to Dole Floats :thumbsup2
SiL -- Just seeing her family happy and making it clear she isn't riding the teacups :rotfl:
Hubby -- Rock n Roller Coaster and Splash Mountain
Me -- Just watching the kids and enjoying every moment of it and -- avoiding the teacups ;)

You should have a lot of fun with all your family. They're lucky they have you to show them the ropes.

Our first time at WDW was for my 40th and when my DS in Texas heard we were planning to stay offsite:scared1: ( we were DL vets-we didn't know) she luckily brought her family along, we all stayed at BWV and had a great time:cloud9:

Have a great Trip:)

I'll play too! :goodvibes

lisalonglash - Sept. 12-20, staying at ASMu pref

Great airfare from SEA (CDN$370 ea, 1 stop going, non-stop coming back), all ADRs are booked (thanks to our wicked TA!), plans are made, groceries have been ordered (doing it through wegoshop this time) and am going to make one set of t-shirts for us this time! Can't wait!!!! :woohoo::yay:

We got a great airfare out of SeaTac too! $382 CAD incl tax. Would have been cheaper, but we are flying into Ft. Lauderdale, and flying home from MCO. American Airlines. First time I'm having to pay that nasty luggage fee.

8/20 - 8/23 POR
8/24 - 8/29 WL
:yay::yay: :yay:leavng in 2 weeks for Ft. Lauderdale.

Yeah we had some great flights too $326 CAD and the dollar wasn't as strong as it is now! We fly direct heading there and we have 1 stop returning.

What airline has the direct flights? Wow! Because we are going to spend a couple of weeks in S. Fla, we are flying into one airport and leaving from another, making it a multi-city fare. Don't know why it cost extra to do this. But I haven't seen any direct flights at that price from SeaTac to Ft. Lauderdale or from Orlando back to SeaTac. We change in Atlanta.

Can I join in?
1st trip coming up:cool1::banana::cool1::banana: - Sept 17-25. We are staying at the All Star Sports. Flying out of SEA, non stop both ways, got it for $391 per person. Any tips to share. There are 6 of us going. 4 adults a 12 year old and a 3 year old.

Alaska Airlines has the direct flights (2 per day each way) SEA-MCO, MCO-SEA. They also code share with Delta, so some got a Delta ticket, but they're flying Alaska. In past years we have usually paid more for the direct ones, but they had some great sales this year. They don't fly direct to Fort Lauderdale though. (possibly Miami) I think the connecting flights while usually cheaper have more taxes/airport fees as they are paid per segment, so that can add a bit to the price.:)

Does this mean I can't join because I'm going in October?

We will be at the Beach Club August 16th - 21st.

We have a 2 bedroom villa and a studio booked.

LOL .... sorry, I am from Ontario ... saw BCer's and thought ya meant "Beach Clubbers". :)

Don't worry. It'll be just like this except more humid and even hotter, and maybe the threat of a hurricane. :rotfl2:

Really though, we've been this time of year 2 times before and we're doing it again, so it IS ok. Drink a lot of water, and you're in and out of air conditioning all day so it's really not bad. ;)
