BC walk to Epcot

when walking to Epcot where do you come out at?...I am asking becuase we need to know where to be when we see Illuminations so we have a straigt shot out of the park to our resort

Good walk from EPCOT to BC - very easy. Lit up at night. Wide concrete path along the water. Nice way back to the BC and avoids crowds.

You will come out with the bridge just to your right. It's a busy place but a great view of the fireworks!!! Takes about 4 minutes to the resort from there.

Has anyone walked to Epcot in the heat of August? We stayed at the Swan last year and the kids hated the boats because they were warm. I thought about the BC but figured it would be too hot to walk back and forth.

Just a note on Illuminations viewing and using the International Gateway. We normally watch all the way over in Germany and have had no problems exited with the crowds and going out the International Gateway. So you don't have to limit yourself to viewing right inside the Gateway.

I agree with Disnut8. Viewing Illuminations from the other side is really nice. We like to do that. Then we take our time to walk through World Showcase as the crowds dissapte. It is beautiful at night and very peaceful, rather than hurrying back to the resort.
The walk to the BC is an easy walk. You will enjoy it.

WDW in August is very hot, but it is no harder to walk to and from Epcot in the heat of August than it is to walk anywhere else at WDW in the heat of August. It is a very short walk from BC to Epcot, so if it is too hot for you to make that walk, it is probably too hot for you to be in WDW at all in August.

Same here, just go to where the wind is at your back (or at least your side) so the fireworks are clear of smoke-the walk to INTL Gateway is easy no matter where you are, but easiest from the Germany to France and bridge sides.
