BC to CR - How long? Best way?

My husband and I will be staying at the Beach Club for our anniversary (no kids) and we have an 8pm dinner reservation at the California Grill.

Any suggestions on the best way to get there? I was thinking of walking to Epcot, through Epcot to get the monorail, switch at TTC and then the monorail to the CR. Is this the best way? How long do you think it will take?

If the MK is still open, you can take the bus to the MK from the BC. From the MK bus stop it's only a 10 minute walk to the Contemporary. If you take the monorail from the MK to the CR, the CR is the first stop. (Be sure to board the Resort monorail). IMHO, the walk from the bus stop to the monorail loading area is about the same distance as the walk to the Contemporary.

If MGM is still open, you can walk or take the boat there. Then jump on the CR bus, which will drop you right at the CR. IMHO, this would be the fastest way.

No matter how you get there, I'd allow about an hour (I hate worrying about being late).

To return to the BC after dinner, I'd recommend a cab. It's quick, convenient and a nice treat after dinner. Expect to pay about $12 - $15, including tip.

If you want to take Disney transportation "home" after dinner, you can travel to any of the parks that are still open and catch BC transportation home from there. If the parks are closed, you will have to bus to DD and transfer to the BC bus there.

We did the exact same thing from BW, took the bus to MK and walked to the CR to go to Chef Mickeys. After dinner we walked back and went into MK until closing.

On a similar note, we were at MGM, and were going to E-night at MK. The line for MK was huge, so we got on the CR bus, and then walked to MK.
