I have a room saved until tomorrow at BC. At the time of that hold they still had Poly available. I've been trying to choose between the two resorts!! Can you help with your opinion PLEASE!! I know, what a tough spot to be in....

Brent,

I voted for BC, but I would think it would depend on where you feel you're going to be spending a majority of your time. If you have kids and will be in MK alot, then maybe Poly would be better off.

However, BC is within walking distance of Epcot and MGM, and you could conceivably monorail to MK from Epcot. Bus service gets a bit iffy sometimes from the Epcot resorts since one route services them all. I can't speak from experience since we have a car down there, only from what I hear on the boards.

Whatever you decide I'm sure it will be a great time. Enjoy!!

I've stayed at both & prefer BC over the Poly. BC's new renovated rooms are bright & airy. Stormalong Bay is huge & tons of fun for all ages. Walking to Epcot or over to the BW is a big deal for us. We love Beaches & Cream, as well as Hurricane Hanna's for food & drinks while we enjoy SAB. The Poly has better overall transporation options, but the pool is much smaller with lots less to do, the rooms are a bit darker (IMHO), and you have to go outside to get from the main building to your room. End of sermon. Either one, you'll have a blast - it's Disney!:p

These are my two favorite resorts -- you have good taste!

I voted for Polynesian, for many reasons, but I'll just make one point concerning transportation. Obviously getting to MK is easier from the Polynesian, and many would say getting to Epcot is easier from Beach Club. But the truth is that getting to World Showcase is easier from Beach Club. You can get to Future World from the Polynesian just as quickly as from the Beach Club, perhaps even a little faster, and with less walking.

If you like to swim the BC is better, but with younger children who might like MK, the Poly is better.

We've stayed at both and I like the BC mainly because the pool is really cool and dw and I like epcot.

Our children are old enough we just let them loose and meet at supper, or they know to find me(when their money runs out) at sab in the afternoon.

Our first trip to wdw we stayed at the poly and really loved it. The pool at the poly is fairly new also.

Thanks for the replies!! After much debate in my head, I decided on the Beach Club. We haven't told our kids yet. They are 10 and 12. I asked my son if we went in July 04, which resort would he rather stay at. He said BC. My daughter I know prefers BC also. I hope they like our choice, I know my wife and I will. See everyone with green on in December!!:boat: :jumping1:
