BC room location

Okay all of you BC experts-I am staying at the BC in Dec and looking to find the closest standard room to the lobby and also be able to see the fireworks from the balcony. Is there such a room?

Which fireworks are you hoping to see, MK or Epcot? Epcot and the BC lobby are at opposite ends of the resort, so you wouldn't be able to get a room with both. I have had a standard view room near the lobby elevators that looked out toward the parking lot with a partial Wishes view. Keep in mind that about half the BC rooms don't have full balconies, if you were planning on watching fireworks from a balcony. You would have a window to look out, regardless of the size of the balcony.

I own at BCV and I BEG them to put me away from the 'frontage road' there.
To alot of folks, the constant flow of cars driving by doesn't bother them, to me, I'm from Seattle and we love being able to sit ouside in the warm sunshine. My last visit I was at the very end of the building (felt like I was ontop of the road) but had a bird eye's view of the fireworks. After about the second night when our room shook from the explosions, it wasn't so cool.
I think it's up to each individual. No complaints about the rooms, etc, but that road sure gets to us, so much so, we've been trying to switch over to the BWV for a preferred view, but never any luck.
