BC or Swan

We are staying 3 nights in the EPCOT area after 5 nights at VWL. I have enough points to stay for free at the Swan, but the kids, 6 & 12 really want SAB. We stayed at the Dolphin in Feb. last year, and I'll admit although very nice, I kind of missed the Disney feel. What should I do? Oh, by the way- if we stay at BC- we would use the points to stay on vacation in 2006 in San Antonio. They won't be wasted, and will save vacation money the next year.

I have never stayed at the Beach Club, but I love the Swan. However, it sounds like you really want to stay at the Beach Club, so that's what I would suggest.

Beach Club is amazing and well worth it! You definitely don't lose any of the disney magic going back to the hotel. In fact you probably gain an added sense of some pixie dust!!!!!!!!!!

If I had a chance to stay free at the Swan, I would jump at it. But I have never felt I was missing any Disney magic while staying there. You could use the money you save to do some other special activities--rent mouseboats, take kids on a Pirate Cruise, etc.

We´ve done the BC at our honeymoon back in 2002, It´s a marvelous hotel.
If you´re not going to loose your points, and can use it as savings towards a future vacation, I´d say go for the BC !!! SAB is really a must specially with kids

Okay- you talked me into it. I was just feeling a little guilty about the money I could be saving. I just hope it is awesome. I love the EPCOT area!

Assuming the points you have will either cover the 3 nights at Disney or your full stay in San Antonio, ask yourself.........

How much would the BC cost you for the 3 nights?

How much would the hotel in San Antonio cost you for however long you will be staying?

Figure the difference and at least you will know how much you would be paying to be able to use SAB. That might help your decision along . I'd gladly pay extra to use SAB, the question is how much...........
