BC Fax requests?

Okay... I'm down to the wire... do I, or don't I fax in a request?

I had, on my original ressie, a smoking room requested (guaranteed request, whatever that means), and a day bed (not guaranteed)... My mother recently quit smoking, and the last thing I want to do is cause her to fall off the wagon, so I called last week to change that request... the person on the phone wasn't sure how to do it, so after 1/2 hour on hold, I hung up... I don't care where our room is, but as we have 3 generations in the room, the day bed is really needed...

Yes fax the request 4 days prior to arrival.

Do you think it matters that 4 days prior to arrival is a Sunday?

Send your fax, Sunday does not matter as WDW is 24/7. I would not worry about the room change, if it did not happen, as I would make the CM aware of it at check in desk. I am sure they can help you.
