BC Day Beds

I just watched the Travel Channels Great Hotels show on the Beach Club. It showed a day bed in the standard rooms. We will be at the BC with our two DS, ages 13 and 14. There is no way the two of them are going to share a bed. So we were thinking of renting a roll away.

Is a day bed typical for all standard rooms or do we have to specifically request it in our room request fax?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Most, but not all the rooms have the daybed. I would call and add the request to your reservation if its important that you get the daybed. I think there is a charge for a roll away but no charge for the daybed so it would be worth a call.

Defiantly request the daybed! It is comfy too as my son slept on it last time we were at the BC!

Make sure to request it and have it noted on your confirmation.

Make sure you request it. We had 5 in a room last year and they "forgot" to give us a room with a daybed. We had to wait til the next day to switch rooms. They did give us a rollaway @no charge for the mixup.

We had a room with a daybed at the BC. The daybed is pretty comfortable.

My 13 year old son slept on the daybed at YC this year and was very comfortable. I think your child will be please with it.
