Just can't decide. I keep reading the boards and all the other sites and I can't decide if Conceirge is worth it. My husband thinks it sounds great but I'm not sure. Who can convince me one way or another?

After asking this question and crunching the numbers many times, I finally decided that the answer was yes! BUT ..... only with a decent AP rate.

If you mean will you get financially out of it what it costs you, probably not. Much of what you are paying for is service. That's a hard thing to put a price on.

Hi,

You wont eat enough bagels or drink enough soda to cover the extra cost.

You have to decide if you think it is worth it for the exclusive check in, secure floor, turndown service, comfortable lounge, daily breakfast, daily snacks and drinks, afternoon hot & cold appetizers, evening desserts & cordials & the services of an itinerary planner.

To me it is well worth it ~ if you are touring the parks commando style and plan to be out all the time then you may want to skip concierge.

The appetizers are light ~ not enough for dinner, you would still need to purchase a dinner. On days we had a late lunch, like at 3:30pm etc... the evening appetizers and desserts were perfect, but this is not a way to save money - it is still less expensive to stay non concierge and buy your meals.

Good Luck deciding,

Thanks, we're still undecided but leaning toward conceirge. It's our 24th wedding anniversary so I think we may splurge. Plus we have two older teenage girls who would love the snacks.

ksmom ~ I take back what I said now that I know you have 2 grown daughters coming along.

You may well get your money worth on breakfasts for 4 & snacks for 2 hungry girls. :)

Plus they will think that you are a cool Mom.

Read your post to my 18 year old daughter and she laughed and told me it would take more than that for me to be a cool mom. Maybe we should leave her at home. Just kidding. Thanks, you make me feel more confident about doing conceirge.

Kids!

Well if it makes you feel any better ~ I think you are cool :)

One warning ~ once you stay concierge it is really, really, really hard to go back to regular accommodations....

Don't say I didn't warn you!

Thanks for the warning. PS I love all your pictures on your web site.
