BC 2 bdrm in July

How difficult is it to get a 2 bdrm at the BC in July at 7 months? TIA

I'm interested in this as well. We just returned from a BC stay in June (a traditional hotel stay that was booked before we bought DVC.) I was thinking it would be nice to return next summer to BCV and forego the parks altogether. Just enjoy SAB, a little dining, and shopping at DD. I think this would work well for us, and in a pinch, we could even deal with a studio or 1 br (though I would love a 2 br for space if we were to stay a whole week.)

OP, I heard the most difficult time to book BCV was the fall during F & W festival. I've got my fingers crossed for the summer, otherwise, I will probably look for a BCV resale.

My parents were able to switch from SSR to BCV both times they tried at the 7 month window (studio once, 2 BR once). Once was for Spring Break & the other time was the middle of June. Not July, but still busier times. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. we just returned from SSR on Friday. We were in a GV with DD,DSIL, DS,DDIL and 2 grandsons. DD found out she was pregnant again 2 weeks before our trip. She wants to go again and stay at the BC. New baby will be 18 months for that trip. Both of our kids loved putting the little guys in the carriage at night and either walking the SSR grounds or going to DTD without having to jump on a bus. DD likes the idea of walking the BW area at night and of course the pool at BC. I like that I can keep on planning trips.

I booked it also at 7 mos out. Originally booked at my home resort.. AKV and switched 7 mos out! LEaving in 11 days!!!

Well we own at BCV and we decided on a quick trip this year so at 7 months I had to call and try and book and I couldn't get it so I booked BWV and waitlisted for BCV and we now leave in 2 weeks and our waitlist NEVER came thru. So just make sure you have a good back up plan. We are disappointed but we will still have a great vacation at the BWV. Good luck.

I also own at BCV and in recent years, have had little success with my waitlists on 2br units if trying to book at 7 months or less. I've done better getting studios.

We just returned from BCV 2 bedroom that was book 7 months out for July fourth week.

I booked my home resort BWV at about 6 1/2 months for July 30-Aug 6. Just out of curiousity I asked about a 2 BR at BCV and they did have a few rooms left. They told me if I wanted to book it I should act fast because they would not last long.

I think your chances for a 2-BR are decent, but not for one of the dedicated 2-BR units with 2Q in the second bedroom - those almost always disappear before the 7-month mark.

We have booked a dedicated 2 bedroom two July's in a row. Last year I was able to book at the 5 1/2 month window. This year I booked at the 7 month but I was only able to get all of my nights in the dedicated that has the studio side. I love this resort. It is becoming a favorite summer time resort for us.

I called about an hour ago and was able to get a 2 br for BCV for the last 2 nights of our trip at only about 90 days out!
